Overlooking Gavrion Bay, TA-57 is a beautiful, unique five-bedroom summer house. Set amidst a three-acre estate lush with olive and cypress trees, mulberries, a small vineyard, a stream, and a traditional swimming pool, peace and privacy are assured. Built in the 14th century, and fully renovated in 1998, this is one of our absolute favorite villas, exemplifying an expert understanding of traditional Greek aesthetic values while honoring modern luxury and comfort. The heart of this building is the kitchen. The entrance leads straight into it, but you can also access the expansive veranda and upstairs master bedroom and en suite bathroom from an exterior staircase. (Inside, these are reached through an old trapdoor in the ceiling. Outside on the ground floor are three single rooms, one with an en suite bathroom, and an additional bathroom for sharing. The third room has a loft bed. The interiors are decorated with a distinct subtlety to show off the natural architectural beauty of the building. The veranda is the one of the most enjoyed features, as is the pool, which is located a two minute walk down a cobbled stairway. TA-57 is an ultimate Greek experience.
