True to the cosmopolitan, sophisticated character of Sifnos, the ownerswanted to build a house that would be rooted in the local architectural vocabularywith a bit of relaxed, easygoing chic, without becoming an exaggerated palace.Acutely sensitive to the charms of the local architecture, they created ahigh-density construct that maintains the island's look while allowing forprivate and generously sized living and outdoor spaces behind the walls. Thiseight-bedroom brand new holiday villa is a perfect example of the stunningeffects resulting from a fusion of natural assets, vernacular architecture andcontemporary inspiration. The outdoor areas feature a large swimming pool andgenerous shaded lounge with dining spaces, all surrounded by Mediterraneangreenery. The interior aims to infuse a simple and chic quality, a contemporarytwist on traditional design. The love and attention the owners put in thecreation of this private heaven emerges in much of the property detailing,giving it the welcoming feeling of a loving home. All living spaces are largeand luminous, painted in uniform white. In this way, the sometimes riotouslycolored paintings and artifacts assume greater prominence. The decorationfeatures bold lines and silhouettes, while at the same time reaching for acosmopolitan air and remaining open to an infusion of color. The carefullycontrived changes in level create a real indoor-outdoor environment, one spaceflowing into another. Level 1: 1 master bedroom en suite, living room and private veranda. 2 private dressing rooms. 2 bathrooms.
Ground floor: 2 double bedrooms en-suite with extra sofa-bed.
Lower level: Living room and fully equipped kitchen. Laundry room. Staff bedrooms.
Building C
Ground floor: 2 double bedrooms with extra sofa-bed, en suite bathrooms and private entrance.
Lower level: 2 double bedrooms en suite. The two areas are connected.
